thought I might let you all know of a brand new night, grand opening this Saturday:

The anticipation is finally over... Majik Entertainment proudly presents - SHIVER SATURDAYS at our new home, the Palace Theatre (previously Metro).

Melbournes newest and biggest weekly club night will be a fresh, exciting and dynamic approach to anything that we have seen before.

Majik will transform the newly renovated Palace Theatre into a music-pumping, dance factory. Weekly, Melbournes best exclusive artists will be showcased for all you music lovers, playing the best international sounds of house and trance.

Offering a new concept and approach to the clubbing experience, Shiver will blow your mind away with stunning choreographed dancers, the hottest live performers and acts, amazing productions and passionate party people.

Over two spectacular rooms and exclusive VIP areas, Shiver will be pumping out the newest house with a build up to trance sounds in the Theatre and dedicating the Gods bar to the exclusive sexy house lovers! Celebrating dance, fashion and culture, Shiver Saturdays will be a night of glitz and glam shaking things up with unbelievable theme nights and stunning creative concepts just to be different so leave the bad attitude at home! Dress to impress, spark a persons interest!

Its a feeling like no other. Shiver, the new dance sensation!

This will be an awesome night, and is expected to fill up (thats 2000+ people!) this Saturday!

TIME: 10:00 PM 6:00 AM

VENUE: PALACE THEATRE (former Metro), Burke st. Melbourne city

GUEST LIST: $20 - SMS me with names by 6pm every Saturday (0413 776 236)
GENERAL ENTRY: $25

I get paid $3 for every guest that comes in, and I'm willing to donate all the money made from team4g guests back to T4G :thumbsup: The more people that rock up the greater the donation!

Shayne, metro is an awesome venue - as long as the crowd is controlled! :w00t:

deano - it was pretty sweet. On Grand opening the place packed out by 1am: ie 2000 people in the venue!:thumbsup:
I honestly didn't think so many people would rock up, especially considering that night the weather was ****** as.

The night is running every sat night, including this one. I get 2 free's so if you guys can get a list of 5+ people, I'll throw in a free entry for a fellow t4g member :thumbsup:

Totally agree mate. The saying during Uni days was that if you couldn't pick up at Metro then you were better off staying at home.
 
Hahaha too true Shayne! Its abit different now, as the owners and hence the night has changed. But i loved the old metro years ago.

These days, especially with the recent violence on bouncers at other clubs (read Bubble), security has increased exponentially.
There were bouncers everywhere at Metro last night, which IMO is a good thing.


And I could honestly not believe how many cops were patrolling CBD last night! It was ludicrous.
They were also stopping any 'performance' car they see, so I wouldn't suggest driving in our mitsi's to the city on sat night unless a a nice yellow sticker on your windscreen is what you're after.

This week is on again people.

For all the trance/dance lovers, the DJs are now pumpin' the trance from midnight! Going to be epic to say the least!

This sat, come celebrate the end of 2009, as this will be the last Shiver session before it re-opens Jan 16th 2010!!

Should be another great night! Don't be shy, gimme a buzz on the night and we'll go fo some shots :) . Better not be driving back home though hahahaa
