hey guys
im looking for some photos of peoples front mounted intercooler setup, reason behind this im looking at doing a custom manifold setup and i would like to know how much room there is, the intercooler should be around the 600x300x76 mark just a front on pic would be great prefered evo 3 bar
the link below shows how i want my turbo to sit and look it wont be on that sort of angel more pointing towards the driver headlight but on a angel towards the font bar i know there are somethings i will need to change,
thanks for the help guys

as shown on the stm tuned evo and also david burschurs BAD BISH

You will have the top radiator hose in the way of or sitting above the exhaust manifold by the sounds of what you are after - getting the manny's tubing longer toward the driver's headlight.
See pic.

cant really see much advantage in the turbo arrangement in the OP's link.

you gotta remember the dump outlet design is extremely important.

how he's got it there doesnt seem much room for the most free flowing design out the turbo.

cold air and looks different to every other manifold, but i was think one of those half koyo radiators will give me more room, just a thought of plan might even go top mount turbo like this http://www.4gtuner.com/topic/8767-sold-forged-4g93t-setup/

you can do that set up, but your going to have to use, half sized rad and most likely water to air cooler......

other wise go top mount with a carbon head light intake.....

yea was more thinking top mount setup but i have a asi radiator and looking at the room gunna be tight fit but thats with a 35/40 not a 3076 so hopefully i have abit more room to play with, but i carnt find anyother pics of that setup from rob at creatd motorsports

Here's one from CREATD I found on my hard drive :)
It would get a massive amount of heatsoak to the bonnet. I get a fair bit now even with my custom manifold setup in the coupe.

Heatsoak??? What about the affect water coming through the bonnet vents onto the turbo??

"The unwanted absorption of heat"

Top mount turbo as pictured above will add Heaps of unwanted heat into your engine bay, heat is bad!

The high heat generated from the "creatd" exhaust and dump setup will start to melt your electrical wire and plugs (temp sensor in top radiator housing, etc.).. Imagine that dump glowing red hot, your talking above 500 degrees celcius...
Sure it looks good (to some) but it should be properly insulated (shields/ wraps or both)..

It doesnt rain all the time, so you cant count on that.

Anyone who has run the standard exhaust housing without the heat shield on will have experienced this..
