slimline radiator fans

Hey guys, what are the options for slimline radiator fans?

Are they all more or less the same ebay vs branded? Anything I need to know in particular when bolting up to an ebay-style aluminium radiator?

Spal are best. You want one with a high cfm to crank the air through.
Tip...
DO NOT use the plastic cable type mounts most supply, that you stick through the radiator.
They will eventually rub through and cause a leak in the radiator.
Make up your own mounts using 10mm wide alloy strap and use the mount points on radiator.

+1 for SPAL and not mounting through the fins.

I had my radiator made up by a crowd called Race Radiators - they supplied the SPAL and also fabricated up the mounts for it so it would bolt onto the radiator instead of through the fins.

I made my own brackets which mount similar to Shaynes.

SPAL every time not cheap.but good :thumbsup:
FYI the CFM rating is without the restriction of having to pull air thru the radiator so the actual amount any fan can draw thru will be lower..

Which is why I suggested getting one with a high CFM.

I went Davis Craig.. Had no issues.. Only got rid of them cause the didn't fit with my PWR radiator..

Have them for sale if wanted?
