He ran 3 9.9 sec passes in a row,each run looked to be faultless and hopefuly his consistency problems are now behind him,well done alastair.

Nikki dunlop in her evo ran 9.3 and 9.4 so 8's should be on the cards soon.unfortunately for andre simon and docile they had more problems and he hadnt completed any full runs up untill when I had left,from what he did get in the car looked impressive and looked to be making more HP.

also the gas celica ran 7.2 first pass and then proceeded to run off the end of the track and spin a few times,it looked like he had rolled the car which would have been gut wrenching but after the dust had settled the damage was limited to cracked body work,he ran a 2nd pass but backed off at half track

our own rayglass celica answered that by running NZ's fastest pass of 7.0 at 313kph.both should be set to run 6sec passes later on today.the lawtons quad rotor ran 8.0 to set our fastest rotary time.

Yet another Speedtech Motorsport car. Man that workshop has really set the standard in New Zealand, and the world!

Not too sure on its specs, but would certainly like to find out!!

GAS have always ran more consistantly in the old camrydore shell, I hope they get the celica sorted out, as they're making more power than Titan were now.

Looks like a great event down there !

Bought? Its been built! By Dodson Motorsport........

It got a new body setup after it rolled last year.

Its an SR20 powered datsun 1200

both celicas were built by rj race cars from the states if my memory is correct,not sure who in the states was running the rayglass one before they got it,the gas car is putting out way more HP,rayglass are running around 1500-1700 where as the gas car has gone up to a new 3.4L engine,their previous 3.2 was laying down 2040HP

after the gas car was crashed in oz they have spent around $70 000 in parts alone and 336 man hours of labour to get it ready for NZ,thats great commitment to their NZ fans,they could have simply withdrawn but they held up their promise and we thank them for that.nikki dunlops car is very simaler to docile in spec just running alot lower tune wise until she is up to speed,mid 8sec is the cars potential

Al backed it up with a 9.92 and he told me the car is feeling great with the smi slicks and laucnhing the car at higher revs!!

yeh rayglass are sponsors but they are still good friends and supporters etc outside of buissnes,they have sponsored just about every car they have built.
