I was lucky enough to go for a couple of laps with steven richards in his 2010 #6
supercar on tuesday, not bad.

Power wasnt crazy(still impressive but not mind blowing) brakes were the same, good but not mind blowing.

But the grip they have is very impressive indeed, throw all the rules out the window with the grip these things have. The entry and mid corner grip is awesome, very impressive.

We were doing 1:25-1:26 around winton on shagged tyres with me in the car - pretty cool.

Mind you I was looking about at the stuff in the car more than enjoying the lap which was a bit silly.:w00t:.

I also won the motorkhana(won a teac i-cubebuddy) and came third in the pitstop challenge which was pretty cool(120 odd people) so all in all it was a good day!

Wow, sounds great George :) Those things throw you around in the seat around corners and under braking if you're not strapped in well.
Congrats on your winnings. Did you take any pics to remember the occasion?

I thought totally different to about it , nice to know the truth

I thought it would be lacking of grip , and very aggressive power output

awsome stuff man

lacking in grip? no way

I'd assume the power band is quite linear? I think when they went to E85, they should have changed the rules, bumped up compression and rev limit, let them make some more HP.

here is a few pics - no vids

haha trav the suit was so tight I looked like I had lost 15kgs as it was squashing me all in there, could hardly lift my leg up to get in the car!

it was soo tight inside the car it was crazy, you can see the tun they fit to sit in so you dont knock/kick anything

yeah all in all it was a pretty good day really, the drivers were quite accesable which made it even better

it was,
make no mistake they are no where near a stock falcon/commodore, even in the shell
they are full house proper race cars. dry carbon and mad stuff everywhere
