Looking at places in Melbourne to do weekend cruises before the winter season.

Places with cafe or coffee shop would be good.

I'd prob avoid Kinglake and Healsville for a while, just because of the shite a few months ago, I'm not sure ppl would want us there?

Bah, youll be driving so fast theyd probably fail to even notice (unless you havea screamer pipe like dres old VR4)

Yeah, I've thought about the area. Cruise, lunch with the kids at a local cafe to help the local economy. But not sure if we'll be realy welcomed there.

the bushfire areas are open again and happy for people to come up and spend money,
however the kinglake road is now 40KMH and it travels slower than that
so if u want a fun cruise, id prob avoid it

I did the 12 apostles a couple of weeks ago. Came inland via Apollo Bay, then back via the Great ocean Road. Was fantastic.

If you are after something a little shorter, the drive to Sorrento via Arthurs Seat is pretty cool too.

Hey

I did the king lake run on the weekend and there more then happy to have people through. They are just touch at people taking photos of the burt homes and graves and stuff when i was there heaps of turos being disrespectful..... but id be up for a cruise

Cheers emps !

Mt Macedon - Hanging Rock.. great cruise and place to hang out/kick a socker ball with the kids and have lunch!
