Up for grabs is my 4g93t CC GSR engine which has been recently rebuilt (Dec 08) and put into my daily driver CC Lancer wagon.
Some of you guys may know the motor from Olly's Pink GSR. Unfortunately, when Olly had the motor built by his mechanic, the job was so poor that i had to start again with a new block.
Bottom end consists of Argo Forged Rods, .50 Oversized ACL Race Forged pistons, ACL Race bearings and Chrome molly Rings. Block has been machined to suit.

There is the common lifter tick on startup, but it does go away once warm. The head was reconditioned by Chasers of Melbourne before the motor was pulled out of Olly's car, so its had new valve stem seals put in and cleaned up.

It blows no smoke whatsover, no oil leaks at all, and is a very tuff and reliable motor.

For those interested, It will come as a complete motor with inlet manifold, exhaust manifold, Alt td04 turbo and chipable GSR ECU. It currently has a TC06 turbo off a Starion with a custom 3" dump pipe running 12psi which i can leave on for extra $$.

Its done approx 10,000kms since putting the motor in back in Dec.

Reason for sale, i am converting the wagon back to standard NA and selling the car. This will be left over and will just be sitting under the workbench gathering dust.
The motor is still in the car and will be for the next couple of weeks for viewing. I can also provide compression tests etc if wanted.

Price: $1400 with the above mentioned accessories, or $1500 with TC06 and custom dump.
Interstaters will need to organise pickup/freight options but im willing to drop it off at the depot if its close enough.

PM if interested.

Cheers,
Chris

.50 oversized you mean its 0.5mm oversized/20thou yeah?
ACL don't list forged pistons on their site for the 93t so was it a special order?
Pin size? 19mm? 20mm?
Who did the work and does anyone know them?

What else was done to the head? Porting etc...

Are you willing to send it as a long block(ie no manifolds or turbo as they are not needed by myself if you have seen the parts in my garage:rolleyes:) to cutt he cost down?
Also not interested in ecu/loom etc....

Its done approx 10,000kms since putting the motor in back in Dec.

10000kms in 3 months?:eek::confused: Are you sure? Thats 100kms every day for 3 months:p

Northline freight are VERY competitive costing me $180 for 2 engines and bits in a 1.5x1x0.80M crate weighing 200kgs from Sydney to Townsville in under a week:eek:

PM if interested.

Oopps...oh well heres fine now:p

Cheers,
Chris

In red^^:)

Youda: Cooler piping has already been claimed.

3zercrowd: to answer your questions in red: here goes!

1. yes, its .5mm oversized/20thou and theyre actually listed as 4agze pistons. For more information goto: http://www.aclperformance.com.au/Toyota4AGET4AGZEForgedPistons.htm
The motor was built by a good mate of mine who's an engine builder. He deals alot more with V8's. Some Melb guys may know him by his car (Blue V8 Inj turbo Hemi Centura) He does alot of work after hours. Machining to the block was done by Donamac Engine Reconditioners in East Keilor to my engine builders specifications.

2. Head was just basically recoed and cleaned with new stem seals. AFAIK, its still all stock porting etc.

3. Really depends on the price. Id rather sell it as a whole to save me time having to remove bits and peices, but if the offers right, i might be willing to sell as just a long block.

4. LOL!.. its more like 7000kms, but i just rounded it off. I did however do 2000kms in 1 week. This was for the run in i drove from Melbourne to Merimbulla. The car actually only gets driven to work and back which is 10 mins away, so it really hasnt done much kms. We do occassionally take it on long drives with the kids.

5. Will do

6. Freight is to be organised by the buyer!

Cheers,
Chris

are you getting a 63 chris?! haha.. good luck with the sale.. glad the motor didn't cause you any problems!

Dean: Cooler piping i actually made myself, but yeah, its been claimed already.
