SOLD: BC valve springs and titanium retainers

For sale a set of used 16 BC valve springs, titanium retainers, seats, and i will also include a set of shims and valve stem seals for free. The shims can be used to bump up the pressure if your running an aggressive cam. All parts have done about 3000kms, about half that was just running the motor in. The highest they have been revved was 9K, never been over that, miss shifted, valve bounced or anything bad. Reason for sale is i got a set of supertech duals as i plan to rev higher down the track and these springs may not have been enough for that, im not sure but i didn't want to take any risks and decided to get the heavier springs incase. I run a pretty aggressive cam GSC S2 and these springs worked fine to 9k, with a less aggressive cam like HKS 280 i cant see these springs having problems till at least 9500rpm. sell for $180 + postage. Will fit all models.

Designed for high rpm, BC valve springs are wound from only the highest grade, super clean, chrome silicone alloy and feature proprietary processing procedures for consistent pressures. BC titanium retainers are CNC machined from 6AL4V round bar titanium to exacting tolerances. Specs are:

• Seat: 1.550" @ 95lbs
• Open: 1.000" @ 235lbs
• Coil bind: 0.935"

No machine work required. Drop in replacement.

what rpm are you going to rev to? Stock evo springs would probably be enough for those cams.

you could get away with the evo springs, or go the BC's if you want something better/newer.

these are a bit over half price......at which they are a good buy. If I was in need of a set I would snap them up. even with the work they have seen they should be fine and are a good thing with your 272s
