Item: Front Viscous LSD from an EVO2 Gearbox, includes viscous CV Cup (very rare!) and crown-wheel
Item Condition: As-Is. Looks to be in good condition, has not been dis-assembled and inspected, the gearbox from which it came was in very good condition when dis-assembled and inspected.

Extra Info: Unit was removed from an EVO2 gearbox. The crownwheel bolts have been removed and used in my gearbox rebuild, so Buyer will need to source their own bolts. The CV Cup (not the CV Assembly!) will come with the LSD unit. Do a search on this forum for the differences between a viscous LSD CV cup vs an open/mechanical LSD CV cup end. The viscous crown-wheel will come with the LSD unit.

Bargain Shayne, especially as it comes with the viscous LSD CV cup and viscous crownwheel.Those cups are pretty rare to track down these days.

Some helpful info for buyers: LSD crownwheel bolts/ Auto transmission flex bolts can be bought from Mitsubishi new for about $50 total for 8 of them. Part number is MD952231. They are M12x29mm with a 19mm socket head. Torque to 132Nm with Loctite.

Also, the LSD front diff crownwheel will need to mate up to an Evo1/ Evo2/ Evo3 front output shaft; any GSR/Evo1/Evo2 1.09 ratio transfer case, and then any Evo1/ Evo2/ Evo3 rear diff. This is for a 3.909 rear diff ratio.

I think it's a pretty fair price for what it is, especially considering how hard the viscous CV cups are to find. Was tempted to hold onto it just because of that reason but it won't do me any good sitting in the cupboard!

I am sorry mate, I don't know if it will go into your gearbox.

The viscous LSD CV spline is longer than a standard shaft. There's plenty of info on this in the forum.
