P-Plate Friendly Alternative to a GSR

Hi all, we've finally listed Kirsty's magenta pink sedan up on Carsales. Our baby is due before the end of the month and time for her to step out of the CC Lancer sedan and into the Ralliart Magna which will house all 3 kids with much more comfort. I know nearly every nut and bolt on this car after building it for her as our daily driver. Mechanically its sweet. It has been ultra reliable and not skipped a beat since I sorted out the conversion with the 4G93P. I can rave on about all the extra features it has installed but all the details can be seen here: http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars...0&tsrc=allcarhome&__Nne=15&trecs=10&silo=1011

Thanks for looking.

With a car that colour Rob, I had to think twice about what the "P" stood for.... :p

But seriously - GL with the sale, everybody on this forum could vouch for the level of detail and care you put into your cars and I'm sure this one is no exception. It'd be a very well sorted pickup for the buyer.

I can't vouch for the paint job as it was already pink when I bought the shell. Its not the best paintjob and kit as you can tell but the rest of it is GREAT! It's straight and a bit of TLC on the body would make it a great little package for someone who wants a GSR without a turbo.

It definitely drives much more refined than other CC Lancer coupes and sedans and GSR's I've driven, and I've driven heaps! lol. Its really wierd, for the suspension and gas shocks etc it actually drives quite smooth and handles great!

The car is ultra reliable, drives smooth and has been the Mrs' daily driver for the kids and hasnt given us any trouble since I changed the 02 sensor when I first did the conversion :) She has a black Ralliart Magna now as her daily as we needed a bigger car for the kiddies. That's why I also bought a Mitubishi Nimbus and rebuilt a 2.4 litre engine for it lol... (but on the quiet I might even sell the Nimbus too and buy something else - dont tell her though)

Yep, a girl bought it. She came around last night with her boyfriend and fell in love with it. The thing is, she said her father and her have been looking for a car around the $5000 mark as she is getting her P's this week. They've been looking for a few weeks and couldnt find anything in that price range with less than 200,000kms on the engine or that needed some sort of additional work or money spent on it. The pink car besides being pink and sporty for her which is a big plus, only has about 43,000kms on the 2003 GTi engine and sealed the deal! Her father came over about 8.30am this morning to go over it, ask questions and take it for a test drive. When he came back from the test drive into the driveway he exited the car, put his hand out for a shake and said - 'We'll take it!' He said it goes great! He then went on to say how clean and well looked after the engine and interior etc is and that he has a mate who is a panel beater who will take care of the paintwork :)
