What oil should I run in a standard open gsr rear diff?
I tried searching, but all the info refers to LSD diffs.

Is there any preference in brand/type?
i.e. I used Castrol Syntrans for my gearbox and the difference it made was amazing.
Is there any special recommendation for the rear diff? (Or because it is open is there no difference?)

castrol 80/140 is what I would use.
LSD oil in an open diff is fine
