Standard lancer/proton seat rail fit recaro?

Hi all,

I have an M21 with factory fitted recaros but the seat rails are rusted and stuffed. just curious to if a standard lancer/proton rails fit the recaros?

remove rails and soak them in diesel for a day or so. smash them with a hammer to get them moving. they will come good.

and to answer your question no they wont fit std seats are a 1 peice back and rail combo conected via the recliner mech

Thanks fellas, They actually move fine jack of all they just have thick surface rust!!!! friggen thinks!!! haha i will try and pull them apart and clean them up.

Go get them bead blasted for about $30. Then you can primer and repaint like new again.

wire wheel on grinder or wire brush. then rust converter, then gloss black killrust.

get dirty with it
