ever since i took my car to afas and got a new radiator installed
i dont think my radiator fan is switching onto the higher speed

it COULD just be because the new radiator is working better
but the temp still always sits higher than it should

and i never hear it while waiting at traffic lights or anything, but that could just be because it was winter and the heat never went too high

how do i check if its working?

also, is it possible to wire it up so its always on high speed?

You don't want it always on high speed. You want it working like the factory says it should. Take it to an autoelec have it checked.

If it's always on high speed your engine will get too cool and the choke will open up.

Thats a load of crap lorrie.... If the water in the radiator gets too cool - firstly the fan will shut off and secondly the thermostat will close... Elminating cool water from going into the engine and TB...
