I have just run 1/0 gauge cable from boot to engine bay, now i want to hook it up to a terminal block.

I have a stinger 250Amp fuse in a spiffy fuse holder. This would work well as long as the starter wont ask for more the 250A, otherwise i will just put a solid bit of metal or some 1/0 gauge in place of the fuse.

How many Amps can the starter draw?

usually the starter motor gets full current direct from the battery..
try and wire it before the fuse

My plan is to use the fuse to connect eveyrhting to the battery.

But if 250amps isn't enough i will replace the fuse with a sold metal bar.

whats the purpose for the fuse anyway?
are you not going to have a fuse individually for the other stuff???

a 250amp fuse isn't really going to blow on anything.. 250 amps is a huge amount! no shorting of a light globe will blow that i think...

i have a 100 amp circuit breaker for my starter motor and it doesn't break!..

overkill dude.. waste of cash...
what are you gonna do with the old fuses?

It came with my Stinger cable pack. So why not use it :p

Its there it looks spiffy and it can act as a terminal block.
