Not sure. The flywheels are same toothcount so I would think so.
Maybe the 1.5 hyundai excel and mitsi engined proton as well.
Maybe not a sonata as they have bigger flywheels.
Im only guessing tho. Not really sure.
Whats wrong with yours? Thay arent hard to fix unless cooked or damaged by departing rod.

Went to start up the car and it wouldnt crank just a squeling noise from the starter, tried again and it cranked over and car started, can hear a high pitched rattle from starter while car is running, also when this happened my lc2 wideband readings are all over the place while cruising not sure if its related to the starter?

Pull it out and test it. Run the jumper leads to the big terminals. Jump 12v to the small pin.
Gear should throw out and motor spin. The throw out mechanism sounds like it might be sticky.
im sure there is a vfac on starter issues, or a utube clip. 99% of starters use same technology.
