If I corner under acceleration (partial or WOT), the car has a weird hiccup. It feels like the car darts towards the corner, then darts back out. However there is no movement in the steering wheel. It lasts for like half a second, but it is really disconcerting.
It kind of feels like the steering just randomly turns the wheels more, then stops turning them that bit extra (not a very good explanation I know), either that or the 4wd system was kicking then then disengaging (but this isn't possible, as far as I'm aware, because we don't have an active centre diff).
I only noticed the car doing this the other day, after I had some front camber bolts installed. I'm not sure if it was doing this before the bolts were installed or not.
I also only recently installed a front swaybar (when I dropped the gearbox to fix my clutch issue), could it be something to do with the swaybar?

The local tyre place (who installed the camber bolts) told me they think it is because the lower control arm bushes are shagged (but why would it happen all of a sudden).

If anyone has any ideas what could be causing it, that would be really helpful.

Jack front end up and make sure everything is tight, camber arms, control arms, steering rack bolts, hub bolts, sway Bar bolts, strut bolts ect.

When I put my camber adjustable coil overs in to see how it would affect things I have it heaps of negative camber. The car would grab If I turned to much and the steering wheel pull into that corner too hard. Then again I did need a wheel alignment too

But first thing is make sure nothing is loose then wheel alignment

real easy way of finding out its the gear you just installed is re tension all the gear or re install the old gear see if it does it

I was lazy and got Goodyear to install the bolts and do a wheel alignment at the same time.
Could it be a dodgy alignment that is causing this issue?
