4GTuner

Help Support 4GTuner:

i ran a manual flow valve on the line to the wastegate and gauge was seeing 1.3 to 1.1 bar,and it ran,no cuts, the only time i would cut is if my fuel was over 20% on the safcII.
Id suspect at this stage the injectors would be like a garden hose, and the pump would have to be not liking it.

If u want to avoid spikes with a manual boost bleed valave u can try this...im about to give it a go.

The standard pickup is off the pipe that runs to the inlet manifold,by the time the air is compressed, then punched thru the cooler then to this pipe,it has lost some velocity and there is a preesure diff and time delay between the turbo making boost and the wastegate air can receiving that presure...just an idea, but im gonna make the pickup for the wastegate hose straight after the turbo compressor outlet pipe, theoretically the wastegate should operate more stable due to les off a drop and hopefully not spike...
The goal i guess is to give more stable boost.
Any one tried this.?
I know sum cars run of the inlet manifold..thats even further away.
