After Destroying my Gearbox Recently, I replaced it with a good Condition 2nd Hand box. New Clutch was installed at the same time.

Before the new Gearbox went in, please Remember the Car made the same noise once or twice before the new Box was put in. However the old Box had a massive crack in the side and lost all of its Oil.

Ever since the replacement, Whenever the Car is rolling, In gear out of Gear, in Neutral, Braking not braking, going Straight or Turning, The car about 50% of the time makes loud Clicking noise exactly the same as CV Joints make. However to date has never made the same noise when there is power going through the drive train and turning a corner. When there is no noise, I can tap the Breaks the car starts making the noise again. I suspected Wheel Bearings to begin with. But they are in perfect Condition.

Please help its running me insane!

I had this noise but only when the breaks were lightly apllied.

Turned out it was warped rotors..i replaced them and the noise went away..doesnt take much to put them out.

Factory runout is around 0.08.

Check it..and check if all the brakepads have the correct retaining clips in the correct spot..this alone can make a pad rattle and tick.

Might sound silly..but your gonna kick yourself if you go down the path of replacing expensive components..only to find out it was the brakes.

How did you test your wheel bearings?
They will hum at around 80 k if theyre f*cked.they sometimes click if they are dry or have spun in the housing..but youd definantly know about it by then.

And check all your driveshafts for rub marks.
