My 2323cc TC stroker that has 8.5 cr pistons has the following COLD and HOT psi readings on all cylinders of 180 psi give oR take 3 psi.

Is this a good result as unfortunately I never thought to test them after it was built.?

Sounds good to me oldie. Generally allow up to 10% variation, you look to have 2%.
I'd be changing the stem seals like you saying in other thread.
Easy enough job with the head on.
Was mentioned on here about a spring compressor tool that was quite cheap and easy to use. Engineer, or Jamo mentioned it a while back.
I use a cylinder full of thin rope as opposed to a aircompressor and fittings into the spark plug hole. Too noisy, and head off if something fails.

Have had the car on a dyno for a gas analysis and it is quite rich in some areas especially @ wot so the tune will need a tweak to reduce the blackish smoke.
Mechanic said to let it idle for 10 minutes then rev it to test the stem seals and only black/grey smoke came out.

Rad, best way to check valve stem seals is get someone to drive your car over the Gateway bridge with you behind it. Get them to drive up & then coast down the other side at say 90kph all the way to the bottom with throttle closed, when at bottom open throttle to 40% opening, if seals are stuffed you will see cloud of Blue smoke out the exhaust. This is because of the high vacuum generated pulling oil down the guide into the engine.

Have already done it down a long hill in 3rd no blue smoke that I could see.
Had it on a dyno last week for an AFR check and it is "quite rich in some areas of the map especially WOT" so the new owner can follow it up if he wants.
