I will say it can be done ... A while ago, when I did my Sonata project, the first workshop I went to was going to convert it from the 4x114.3 to the Evo 5 stud ... That was cause he had the front and rear breaks, discs, and all the parts laying around from a half cut ...

so you get the brakes, hubs etc etc from a evo and put them on a gsr?
coz an evo brake upgrade i thought was possible as well. (well the callipers but not the rotors for obvious reasons.)

From what I have been told .. yeah ...

I have FTO/Evo brakes on my CC ... They went on pretty easy ... Was a snug fit, and needed to be modded a little ... But all seems well with them ..

you can get your hubs redrilled to
5 stud but it is pricey
they need to be accurate
just make sure you do the abs ring
as well

I had the fronts off my Eclipse ... But binned them a while ago ... Should have kept the bloody things... Grrrrrrrrr

the fronts should be the same as a magna (spline count might differ though)
but u might be able to use magna outer cv's..

its the rears that are hard...

if i recall correctly,
u should theoretically be able to use:
-magna
-fto
-rvr
-hyundai's (some of them) i know sonatas are the same but they are also 4stud

(fronts only)
a trip to the wreckers will help!

you cant use fto or magna n the rear because they are not 4wd
and dont have the spline for the shaft.

as nk said, evo front knuckles/hubs and lower arms,
then you can bolt brembos on the front with 17's

redrill rear, unless you can use rvr or maybe awd magna,

not sure because evos run trailing arms and the magnas have knuckles,

time for some research

^^^^ for better wheel selection I take it - I'm in the same boat as all the wheels I like are frikken 5 stud, especially all them deep dish ones I drewl over

Look in the pic below of all the Mitsu's that have the identical large 276mm front rotor dimensions and mix of 4 & 5 stud (look for 276-45-24-22.4-69-then 4 or 5 stud):

FRONT HUBS
Now as far as FWD/AWD goes, any of the 4 or 5 stud 276mm units and hubs above in blue circles should fit, including FTO, although I cant confirm 100% on all as you may also need the bearing to go with them.

REAR HUBS
As for the rears on a GSR/EVO AWD it's a different story and you will have to get the stock rear AWD hubs redrilled to 5 stud - thats the only solution I know of atm (I havent looked into DSM's or RVR's yet)

As far as a FWD Lancer is concerned, the FTO rear discs have the same dimensions as the GSR/EVO rear disc and they are a 5 stud and suited for non AWD, so technically they could be used (see the red circles, the top one is AWD rear from GSR/EVO, bottom one is FTO non AWD rear).
