You mean stutter box??

If your blitz ECU has a removable eprom then yes you can get a new chip with launch control/secondary rev limit

Hey all,

I just got my car socketted yesterday. Got stutter box + no lift to shift + a few other goodies.
It just feels weird working up the gears with the accelerator flat to the floor.
:twisted:

MAD: If you can get yours read and can probably mod it & burn it for u.

Cheers,
John

hey grant if ya cant redo ya chip this may be an option

Rev limiter $379
Ignition cut with adjustable RPM and gain/duration, designed to produce loud bangs and big flames from the exhaust (for track use only). It also has a switch (handbrake switch if you want) operated 'launch' rev limiter for drag racing.

cant do ignition cut with the stock ecu

stutter box is only fuel cut

did the flat shift seem to help much?
I can't be sure. I have no emperical evidence but perhaps I know it makes my launches more constant and reproducable 8)

gizzmo works on a clutch switch
The ECU mod doesn't require running a separate clutch switch.
The code is analgous to the following:

if (speed == 0)
set rev_limit = 5000;
else if (clutch == IN)
set rev_limit = 5500;
else
set rev_limit = 7500;

but the ecu mod is fuel cut, not ignition cut

you could always just buy the gizmo launch control system... same shit really
yep

gizzmo works on a clutch switch

AFAIK the bee-r is just a constant rev limiter

bee r* also has a second limiter for launch control based on a handbrake/clutch switch, ive got a review i can scan in db mag?
