Looking for some feedback on what replacement bushes we have used in the front and rears or our gsr/evo's? The typical control arm, sway bar link etc. bushes.

Im leaning towards Noltec at the minute - their marketing (about being softer than many other aftermarket bushes) and all the negative feedback where people have changed to rock hard bushes has me thinking.

Any feedback appreciated.

Superpro
Nolethane
Noltec
Pedders
Superflex
Ralliart
Lovells
Mackay
Whiteline

Cheers,

Tim

NVH is always going to be increased when making the suspension more solid with polyurethane no matter what the brand. I'm running a pair of modified generic Lovells "D" bushes for the rear swaybar. The front has genuine new Mitsubishi parts as I couldn't find a poly bush that would fit properly. The rubber they're made of is actually reasonably solid.

If NVH is a major concern stick with new stock parts. If Noltec are marketing their stuff as softer i'd be more inclined to go for stock stuff over theirs as they'll provide bugger all benefit over the stock stuff while being more expensive.

Well said, thats the truth, and i guess it comes down to what roads you drive on, and what you use the car for, id give whiteline a call and see what theyd reccomend too.

I also heard Noltec are no longer existant and are owned by red ranger.

noltec whiteline nolethane lovells all owned by redrangers. whats the world coming too

superflex and superpro both distributed by fulcrum

NVH not of major concern as the car isnt a daily driver. Whiteline dont actually have a comprehensive list of bushes, they only have swaybar bushes...

I'm confused.

Softer than other aftermarket bushes... still understand that they will be harder than stock (well that is the aim of PU bushes). Have just read some reports of bushes crapping out after minimal use...

Ive seen the nolathane Yellow bushes EAT the METAL! In other words the bush is harder than the metal itself.

I was under the impression that Red was the next hardest and also did a bit of damage to the metal.

Then the superpro Blue was as soft as stock rubber bushes, BUT firmer?
Superpro is supposed to be the preferred one over the metal eating ones for its properties.
Hence why I like them.....

I mean wouldn't it appeal to you if its better than the rubber, but as soft?

How did you go with them front quotes Rob?
