Has anyone on here competed,pit crewed or been an official as was wondering about what happens during pre event scruitineering.

Yes I competed in open class last year, what do you need to know oldie?

I crewed last year for SKR, didn't have to do any crutineering from my point of things.

The cars had to go through scrutineering.
It was stricter than a normal sprint but nothing silly.
They are just following the cams manual for the basics.

Just lined the car up, they checked it over, concentrating on belts, seat mounts,lights and fuel system stuff really.

I hope to be there again this year as I have a spot reserved as I came 5th last year, but driving my own car instead of some one else's this time lol

I will be there again doing the marshalling in pit lane...Hoping to see you there again George!! Can't wait actually!!! Should be just as good as the last few years....Especially with the RedBrick racing Evo now on the list...that thing is a beast!

YYep....I think you might be right about being the first early Evo to race there...and hopefully you will smash them all!! There were 2 there last year but were only displays not racing...
I've got my fingers crossed that you will be there can't wait to check.out all the hard yards you've put into the machine!!

How anal were they checking car specs ?

specs wise they werent super anal, not sure if they checked the top cars or not.

What have you done to your car that makes you think it wount be able to run? the rules are pretty bloody open lol

They are quite concerned about safety stuff though.

Twin cammed
Safety is on my mind as well so has Velo sear & 4 point harness, upgraded brakes, and suspension will be thoroughly checked by Fulcrum.
