suspended rego

can anyone tell me what the go with a suspended rego is? it got suspended because i didnt get a RWC when i bought it and now i wanna take it to get done.. do i need a unregistered vehicle permit to get it to the roadworthy mechanic?

i generally play it safe and get a permit but i'm pretty sure that the law states that you can drive it to and from a mechanic...

i am posative you dont need one to get to vicroads once you have an appt number in you hand.. they have told me that in the past

yeh law states that aslong as your driving the most direct route to the mech(rwc place) or vic roads you should be ok.

WELL i went into vicroads today and asked to get a unregistered permit....
i was told that because it is SUSPENDED i cant get one and will have to trailer or tow it... what an absolute WANK!... looks like im driving it to the mechanics....(also hooray for my 100th post!)

I had 3 (1 month ) permits on my cordia before I regd it....lol

Yep! So much f*cking around with them
because I brought a GSR in Vic, and needed
to Rego it in NSW (where I live).

Australia needs ONE nation-wide Roads/Vehicle etc
government body.
