Hey guys. My Injectors are way to big for my needs. So if there is anyone that has Evo 9 560cc injectors and wants to upgrade let me know.

My injectors are about 10,000old FIC 650cc.

Straight swaps, I'm not looking to make money.

Yeah they bolt straight in.
I dont care what injectors I get, as long as they can provide enough fuel for 210kw atw. I think 510's may be a bit small? Anyone got an opinion?

I own Dre's old GGSR which apparently made 216kW.
It uses 510cc yellow-top injectors.
I haven't yet got a wideband so I can't tell you if it's leaning out, but the car is set to 20 PSI with no apparent probs. (touchwood)

Hmm...Thanks mate, well thats good to know.
What do Evo 6's run? or Makkis if there is any difference. I saw one make 256kw atw yesterday and that was using 25% more fuel cos it was tuned on E85.

I'm not sure if he wants people to know so I won't say outta respect. He ended up making 266kw atw, but injectors were maxing out as was the turbo maxing out at 27psi. Car is stock except for exhaust and boost controller!

When you find a good tuner you stick with them....Steve Knight at Steve Knight Racetech

So who has some 560's? If no one has 560's then I'll just use 510's and a lil cash my way.

Sent you PM. If 650's would be more suitable for my application... swap can be done.

Hey, you should be running E85 too ! I've done a heap of tuning on it and you shouldnt be using anything else but , if you want to make serious power. So keep the bigger injectors. Otherwise, I reckon I might have some injectors at home that will do the trick... they are 510's.

Cheers Mike

There are only 2 servos in Adelaide that have E85 and none of them are near me at all. Otherwise I would keep them.

I know its a bit of a hassle to get E85 now, but... it is definitely worth using, believe me ! It should be much more readily available next year. The v8 supercar circus is using it as a control fuel next year and will be using its high profile to introduce it to the Australian public. As a consequence it is anticipated that it will much more widely available ( just like it is in Europe and USA). In the meanwhile, give me a hoy if you want some yellow top 510's.

BRISVR4 - I am surprised you guys dont have E85 as the ethanol is made literally on your doorstep ! They ship it down to Adelaide and it is blended locally. You wont be sorry when you do get it !!

Mike
