Hello all,

I've been searching for new wheels lately, and have noticed a distinct lack of 4 x 114.3 wheels these days. Everything I like the look of is in 4 x 100, I'm guessing due to the sheer number of vehicles running that stud pattern now. For reference, I'm looking for 17 x 7.5 wheels.

My question for today is, what parts do I use to swap my GSR over to 4 x 100 (if I go this route)? Can I use a mixture of CE Lancer/Mirage front hubs and rear hubs off of a disc brake proton, or will this not work?

I know 5 stud swaps are possible too, but I'd prefer to say 4 stud.

Any help/insight would be appreciated.

Thanks.

gsr is AWD the car you mention are FWD unfortunately none will have provision for rear axles your actually beter off looking into 5 stud conversion more rim choices and can use evo 4+ hubs

Fronts are pretty straight forward, just change hubs, backs I dont know 100%, might be harder, I dunno if they have the provisions for the driveshaft to go through, plus spline count an size? Surely wouldnt be too hard???
Really though, For the hassle I'd go 5 stud, ya can put any factory evo wheel on plus a lot more other options and then brake upgrades later are easier too

Where abouts are you? I saw these pretty cheap with good rubber too #152571259800 on ebay

Bugger. Figured that'd be the case. I guess 5 stud does also have a lot more options. Thanks guys.

I'll find something in 4 x 114.3, there's a few wheels I've liked, it's just the wheels I've found in the exact size and style I want are only 4 x 100.

I've got a cheap spare set of buddy club p1 rims in white 17x7 +42 4x114.3 if you're in Melbourne.
I'm in Central Qld, and I'm not really a fan of the p1's. Thanks anyway.

I've never seen them in those sizes on yahoo auctions, they're always 4x100. Guess I might get lucky one day.

Nice choice, and popular with the Honda's hence the bulk of the 4 stud being 4x100
Dan had/has a set of these, but they were in 16"

He may still have them for sale?

Another outrageous thought...

The CM5A should be 4 x 100 PCD and there is a possibility that the components (front and rear hubs) could work
Are you sure the ce gsr is 4 x 100 Tim? I thought like a cc gsr they would be 4 x 114.3 ?
