Sync procedure for IR keyfob

Does anyone know the synchronization procedure for the IR key fob on the Evo 1?

You will need to take it into your local mitsubishi dealership- but I cant remember the EVO 1-3 even having keyless entry via they key?

evo one halfcut I had didnt have it but the evo two cut did.

RS probably didn't have it, but GSR did. Anyway it works fine on the original key, but the dealership that I got it from has no idea how to do it (for $130/key, you'd think they'd go ask someone. )

I had a similar thing on my old Benz, was dead simple - flash the remote, and unlock with the key within 30 secs, done! Doesn't work here.

Its probably best they cant do it- they'd probably end up frying all your electrics :lol:

If anyone was wondering how this is done, I figured it out. Take the door apart and there's a control box inside with a recessed switch. Flip the switch to "Set" and flash the new key.
