T3 Flange

The more common stuff is the T3 sized turbo's for our cars.

cheers for that its a T4 flange

do you think there is any T4 to TD05 adaptors?

I only keep seeing T3's

You might have to get something like tdo5 - t3 adaptor then ta t4 to t3 plate.

The t4 flange is larger so depending where it sits, you may have to do some porting to make sure the transition is nice and smooth.

I will check that out,

theres no water lines only custom oil lines,

also is it hard to get the wastegate port welded on a stock manifold?

Ive got Jay on it, with flanges , hopefully it will be all good, I was wondering how low it would sit also,

is it hard to get someone to weld a wastegate addaptor pipe onto the manifold? or its pretty easy to do?

Hey Travis i did something like you want to do to another car of mine, i had a tx5 and wanted to put a t28 on it so i got a t28 flange and just welded it on the the tx5 manifold. It worked perfectly pushing 20psi no cracks or leaks its just finding a really good welder also the wastegate pipe can be done but again you need a good welder. Some say you cant weld the cast manifold but you can.

To weld cast iron correctly, I believe you have to bake the manifold (get it up to temp), then use cast iron rod then weld. The main issue is with welding to cast iron is the different rates of expansion and contraction with the different types of steels which can increase the chance of cracking.

even if the turbo sits a few inches lower, most things have to be custom made up for it to fit anyways.. soo shouldnt really be a big deal....

but i see this becoming a fun project.....
