Tampered Motorsports are running a track day at Winton on the 18th Dec.

What makes this one different is that they will be running the short (original) track for part of the day and then the long track (longer back and front straights).

Should be good - you can usually count on getting about 30 laps out of the day.

Entry cost is $160 and the usual requirements are in place (ie working seatbelts, helmet, working brake lights etc etc)

See their website for more details.

hell yeah!! been wanting to do one of these.

just checked the website could only find one on the 16th. do you have the link for this event?

Not sure where you're looking bud, the Winton website shows it as the 18th -

http://www.wintonraceway.com.au/calendar

and so does the Tampered site -

Looking forward to meeting you - make sure to wander up and say 'Hey'

didnt get around to it this time :/ had financial commitments which dont alloww for splurging at the moment. but i definately want to do one maybe next time

I'm going to try and get to the last two Friday sessions before the end of this year too if the car is still OK after tomorrow. The Friday sessions are much much better than the organised days IMO as they're cheaper, less cars and you get more laps!

true, but no official timing is a pain. if you do go though you may be able to spend
some time setting up the lap timing on the dash

good job by jurrel today, into the 49s in the vr4.

A few new PBs for me today too :) in 3 different cars lol

Haha thanks mate. Would have loved to have realized my coil overs where blown before hand.
Caused massive bump steer coming into the hairpins and 90 degree corners.
But oh well...u live and learn lol still had an awesome time

Brought my cousin along in his evo 6 and he managed to net a 1:44 lap which was awesome. His first time ever on the track too

thats a great effort for first time out. let me know next time your heading out.

I did a 1:53 flat in the starlet
1:40 flat in my mates STI
and a 1:44 in his mates GTR,all on road tyres, and a 330+kw GTR is "interesting" on road tyres lol
so it was a busy day for me

Yeh I spoke to that guy with the evo, I thought he said ex gravel rally car.
Should have come and said hi, didn't even know u were there
(unless u did and I didn't realize it was u lol)

By the time I got my shit together and sorted out the others you had left by the looks of it, sorry
