Since I have a little more time on my hands as my Galant project is finally over (for now)..

I have some extra time to possible mass produce some TD05 3" split dumps for VR4/EVO1-3/RVR in mild steel

Just gauging up some interests as to how many people would actually be interested in one..

hit me up with a price on the plit dump pictured. i would also like to see a picture of the inside of the flange area
 
In that case.. ..

I'll be speaking to a new supplier next week for smaller radius bends..

Will make up a few and sus out how many hours it would take to make one and will get approx price on one unit etc...

Vic guys have an option of: (price will include installation if the below combination is bought)

Split dump and front pipe
or
Split dump and front pipe plus 100 cell cat


Should have prices up hopefully by the end of the month...

Will keep everyone posted..
 
only problem with the External Gates are that they are all different shapes and sizes... so positioning it inside the engine bay and not hit anything, would put my OCD through the roof with out being able to actually mount it in the bay..
 
Pipes and flanges are ordered for a small batch....

Will start producing a few for mock up, might need a few VIC cars for trial fitment...

If I wasn't running ext gate AND didn't want a screamer lol, I'd be hitting you up for one of these bad boys for sure!!!

PS do you cut up the housing flanges yourself or order them from somewhere? Only reason I'm asking is that I need to make up a front pipe to suit td05 exh housing but the flapper is welded shut so want a flange with only the exhaust hole (pref 3") and a blank where the wastegate hole is...if you know what I mean?

doing the first batch with off the shelf flanges... next batch i will get someone to CNC some flanges pending on how many people are interested..
 
First batch of test flanges from first supplier have arrived..

Going to look for another supplier that will water jet/laser cut a larger outlet hole for the guys running bigger rear turbine wheels ...

The first batch of split dump pipes will go for approx $350 plus shipping (4GT members only), Remembering that you will need to have your front pipe modified to suit. I could possibly make a 3" dump that would sit exactly the same Position as a factory dump, but would not benefit from a split dump set up as it would not have enough length in the pipe.


Currently the only available dump pipes for our early model cars seems to be cheap stainless 2.5" (see links below)

Notched the side of the pipe for easy fitment (other wise its almost impossible to turn the nut with 3" pipe)
