They have no brake line bracket though? Odd

Most afteramrket struts/coil overs dont come with brake line brackets.
My Hotbits don't have em....Jase just ziptied the shit out of em :lol:
LH and RH are the same, well from every strut/coilover I've seen.

Slowly but surely.
Pistons, rods, bearings, welsch plugs, squirters and crank all in. Tomorrow torque up the mains and caps. Install oil pump and balance elim. kit.
Head is almost together. The shit thing is I only get a half hour a day to work on the engine....and thats my lunch break.
Not long now at all. Just need to get a front pipe made, hot side of cooler piping made, wire in WOLF and get a tune. I reckon I'm just gonna pay the tuner to wire in the ECU. Havent chosen between Shaun at BoostWorx or Graham Wests yet.

OK this is odd...

The top of the pass. side strut tower says "L" but only the "R" camber plate fits it?

which holes are you using in the strut tower?

there are 4 holes total, we only use 3, some confuse the front one as one we are meant to be using....(if looking from the front of the car

Ha Ha, my "shity" D2 coilovers have a bracket! but not for the ABS wire, so they got the cable tie treatment

OK just to clear up a bit of mis-information (read: stupidity on my part)...

1. The coilovers do have brake and ABS line brackets.

2. The Left coilover does fit the left side, but I think either in transit or when the courier chucks boxes over my gate one of the strut tower bolts took a slight knock putting it 0.5mm out. A few taps with a rubber mallet corrected it and it was right as rain.

On a side note I've had this car more than 3 years and only just noticed that there's an L and R stamped into each side of the strut tower! :roll:
