Hey Guys,

Upgrading the suspension on the e5 and am looking at either the Tein Flex fully adjustable or thie Whiteline kit...

I had the Whiteline Works Kit on my previous car (94 GSR) and it rocked.. Heard nothing but good stuff about the Tein as well...

So I ask the age old question which should I go for ??
Also looking at the cusco strut brace kit to finish it off.... any thoughts on this ?

Thanks for all the feedback.. Went for the Tein Flex full kit including pillow ball upper mounts.. getting fitted today, get car back tomorrow after dyno.. will let you know how it handles if anyone is interested...

Make sure your Tein stuff is rebuildable. By all accounts it's only good for 15-20000 kms of street before at least one of the dampers will need to be rebuilt.

I've heard stories of track usage needing rebuilds after every or every 2nd meet.

tein

I have tein in my e2 and am very happy with it straight out of the box have not had to make any adjustments gives 109mm ground clearance I sell and fit suspension all day long so am hard to please. And yes they are rebuildable

picked up the car Tuesday night.. handles awesome.. haven't had much of a chance to play around with settings but hopefully get a chance to really test it out on sunday...

dam ifonly i read this topic more early ! should of gone full whiteline package !!! there a good price and built for australian roads i think not sure but correct me if im wrong .

cheers joe-ness

i would have gone whiteline too.

group4 coilovers are supposed to be pretty damn good, and as joe-ness has stated, built with aussie roads in mind.

tein

The majority of tein ordered through fulcrum suspension (Australian distributor) will now be valved for Australian conditions. A group of tein engineers spent six weeks here in conjuction with Fulcrum gathering data and playing with differant valve-ing to suit our roads.

not sure about the suspension lasting or not.. will tell you in 20,000 kms.. :D but as far as the handling... totally awesome.. Absolutely love it.. Two thumbs up for Tein
