Assuming your all not theives.....

If you were to leave your car somewhere and wanted to disconnect an inconspicuos plug to stop a "dumb" theif from being able to drive away, which would be the best?
either in car or under bonnet..

Ive thought about igniter..pretty obvious..

What about that plug thats under the glovebox at the back on a little steel panel? i think the car just keeps cranking...

P.s i dont want a full write up on how to buy an alarm either. :D
Just throwing some ideas around.

thanks

Jamie

what i did when i rewired the fuel pump is ran the earth wire from the relay to a switch under the dash, then whenever i go out and leave the car i just flick the switch off then the fuel pump can get no power coz the relay wont earth, can't go anywhere without fuel

I just took the 3 fuse/relay things out of the box on the battery + terminal - their tiny enough to slip in ya pocket easily.

switch on the earth for the fuel pump relay is a good idea.

ditto the trigger wire for the starter
