Unplug the Engine control relay located behind the ashtray (in a CC GSR/EVO/CC Lancer). From the passenger side foot area, stick your hands in behind the dash, behind ashtray and disconnect the plug from the gold coloured relay. It'll remove power supply to the fuel injectors and would just sit there cranking but wont start.

yer, used to just take the coil lead on mjy old car, not that that helps us hehehe...
