First of all I'd like to wish you all a very HAPPY, FUN & SAFE day with your families :)
May it be a time to reflect back and celebrate the lives of loved ones we have lost, and a time to hold up a beer and say 'cheers' to those blessed new dads whom have brought a little one into this world as well.
No matter what life has installed for us, I think being a dad is the most important and best job in the world that a man could ever do.
When the little ones are smiling and happy, it makes us feel like its Father's Day everyday :)

Now with all the mushy shit out of the way, lets be men and talk about the true meaning of Father's Day... what pressies did we end up getting from the little ratbags??? lol
Im not fussed about the Ferrero Roschers and shorts that I got this morning from the wife - its the car shit, tools and toys Im talking about lol

Sunshield for the Nimbus... tick! (a pressie one of the boys picked out at school for me)
An occy strap and a tape measure.... tick! (first of all WTF??? another pressie one of the boys picked out at school for me)
A cap that says "BECAUSE Im DAD that's why"... tick! (Another school pressie. From now on when I wear it everybody shall just accept my decision 'just because')
A High Pressure Cleaner with multi sprayer and swirly broom attachments.... fkn mega tick!!! (now that's the shit Im talking about. Good to see they spent my hard earned money on something worthwhile lol  )

Moral of the story.... the wife will give you lame ass pressies, but Kids always know what their dad really wants (even if its just a hug and a kiss and to hear them say "I love you daddy")
That's why its called "FATHER'S DAY"

I got a block of chocolate a "tens" machine an my first ever card personally signed by my 15 mth old daughter, but most of all its just the hugs an kisses I love.
I do however look forward to when she gets old enough to pick stuff herself an buy me tools an cool shit.

I have a 4 month old and this was my first Fathers Day. What did i get? Some awesome stone ice cubes that you throw in the freezer and use in your drink so it doesn't dilute the taste. I hate when my cognac/whiskey gets watered down.

Main gift was spending time with her. Awesome feeling being a dad.

I got my old man a bunnings voucher, you cant go wrong with that shit lol.

Hope you all had a good fathers day :)
