Help Support 4GTuner:

yeah i think im just gunna bite the bullet and go see the fellahs down mitsi, oem seems the highest quality and most trust worthy, pricey i know so before i hear "but its on a budget" let me explain the budget side,
eg
$75 evo 9 pistons and rods $1000 frogies and rods
$100 evo 8mr cams & 9 beehive springs $800+$400 kelford/ hks
$cheap evo 9 560cc inj $400 delphi/ deutch works
$cheap evo 8 ecu $400+ ecu
and note all my parts are delivered where as the rest arent
from what i found the mr cams are 260/256 and 10mm/9.5mm lift and the beehive springs and retainers should stop the valve float if there was any to be had, maybe $50 bux to ut the new cas slot
the 8 ecu (thought was a 7) can run dual maps (e85 is always a thought for later),
the evo 9 pistons/ rods can handle more power than std e2 and i wont have cold start issues with piston slap or whatever,
and if i can find a cheap twin scroll ill reco/ mod it to try improve response,

when ya look at it part by part ya tend to get carried away on spending but as a list ya really see how quick it all adds up, and we all know more money= more more money! and more more money= more more more money! never stops

Just remember these days a lot of genuine parts are made by a different manufacturer for the company to sell to you as a genuine part. For example gates make a hell of a lot of water pumps for automotive brands to sell as a genuine part. I've never had a problem with meek and the quality of their products is great. I'm pretty sure that you will get the same warranty for an oil pump from them as you would from mitsubishi
