I saw one of these cruise through town once when I was living in Japan.
The 2003 model was just as cool, but the Racing Lancer was a bit too weird I think.

My father owns one. His is a manual to boot. D@mn fast it is as well... :lol:

(Wheels look in real bad condition, but thats being fixed as we speak. )

Does anyone on here have any solid information on how many of these were manufactured? (Both Tiptronic and manual versions)

It is a bit! :lol: Its definately a bit 'weird' to drive, the first time you sit in it. It felt like the wheelbase was a bit too short for its height, but its completely deceiving. It also has one of the quickest responding steering racks I've experienced, and feels like you can turn on a dime. Leave it in 2WD, and you drift the hell out of it as well!

You don't want tiptronic though. Get the manual gearbox, much more worth it.

(You get ones that are a fair bit higher than 206KW as well, fully Ralli-art prepared, gas flowed heads, fully balanced and blueprinted, etc. )
