a mate of mine asked me to email the v8 utes an offer his work shop for some repairs. we had 2 phone calls today, one brute missing a door (gary baxter sage auto) he also said he had some sponsor room on his bonnet for just $10,000.00 if anyone is interested.
the other one has a blown engine, smashed in the front and rear (charlie kovacs wilson security). i am going to be flat out for a couple of weeks.:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

P.S. I have some 215/40/17 kumho KU31 ecsta tyres for sale with 95% tread or more on them for $500. I wanted $600, but ill be happy with $500. I need to downgrade to 205/40 to stop the scrubbing in the carparks....wrong size originally put on....
Also if anyone knows anyone interested in some Subaru WRX stock 17inch alloys im looking for $800 but ill take $700 or $1100 with the tyres and rims together...
 
Round 3 today at the sprints.

Coops (usual GTR driver and Ryan's Evo4's old owner) absolutely SMASHED it today in a borrowed Evo5, first time driven, and ran a lap record NEARING 40.58 (40.47 the record)

I came 3rd in class 5 (AWD turbo) with a PB of 44.43 (I ran a recorded 44.18 on the spectators computer screen display but the computer timing gear stuffed up and over-road it so I got an additional run but couldnt better it :verymad: ) just shy of the wrx club spec 2 at 43.75. My previous PB being 45.85.

All in all it was a great day and I certainly learnt a lot about tyre choices, pressures and camber settings.

I seriously need to upgrade the rear swaybar and get the bushes done in the front end. <_< :p
 
:thumbsup::thumbsup:good day at racing, got another PB:), heaps of mitsubishi's, shreaded one tyre on my last lap (showing off) and met a few other 4g members. all in all a good day.

Ill just copy/paste what ive been saying to ppl on msn....

Bit of work to do. Down the main straight I went to brake change down to 2nd and turn in like I always do and it slightly turned then just locked up and went into the gravel trap... I reversed out quickly, had a look for the other driver half track behind me, and went to turn onto the track...no power Steering! The rocks flew up into the belts and pullys and threw the PS belt.

The front bumper has pushed in a little, rocks everywhere INC the harmonic balancer, I limped back to the pits and jacked the car up and on the way it was making a wierd ticking noise whick turned out to be the rocks and the blet around the engine bay, which fell off on the return road somewhere. I have to take pics of it but its got a rock wedged into the centre of the belt, you couldnt repeat it aye!

Bumper came in contact with the cooler pips and the PS cooler hoses but not bad. I got all of the rocks out of the pulleys, aircon compressor, plastic guards and most importantly the rotors and calipers.... Today I will have to go to Ubercheap and get 2 new belts for it... I think ill ditch the EBC greens!
 
tell you what i saw that photo and had to check my grills were still on my car.lol. whereabouts you live? ill bring my galant around this weekend to have a peak.
