Long story to that bro. I had it sold then the dude's person check didn't clear over in Nz. Lucky for me i had True friend's i met over the years being in tsv to get the car for me and follow up on the guy who try to rip me off. Alot of damaged done to the old girl =(, Head gasket gone, gear box, turbo shot, intercooler piping crack, and water damaged due to being stored outside a friend's house.
Well after arriving back in May I got a job working at a Hotel in the city, I started to source some part's from people i knew, Gt pumps offered to take the 16g turbo back and change it for a 20G at a low cost due to what happen. I also picked up a 255 walbro fuel pump and dump pipe off a few friend's over in nz.I had a hard time with the Head gasket due to the lack of money for tool's. Still got it done after borrowing tools left right and center from people lol thank god for Townsville mates!! Got the gear box done in Northward wasn't happy about the price but i couldn't change it myself due to work. April came along and i was still catching the bus to work. I got some time to wield up the piping that was cracked not the best but done the job, Installed the new turbo and fuel pump thanks rob! clean out the car and removed the seats to find where the water was coming in. Wielded a plate over the hole and covered it.
June came still catching the bus fml, car still wasn't working due to the ecu, brought a cheap one off ebay took ages to be delivered to townsville like 2 weeks from china, replaced it turn it over and OMG it works no more buses. July still catching the bus lol I had to get the RWC done which the old girl pass with flying colors. Got her back on the road 7th july @ 4:45pm was pretty happy to see the end of the bus.
Good start to being back and to have the old girl on the road where she belongs. Love my vr4 love townsville for life =) horse
