That Evo 5 , is not an personal import. So you will end up getting a bargin, since he cant sell to interstate buyer. Car market is dead atm, take your time nego with him...i hope you end up getting a good price for it

can anyone gimme advice on what to look for etc as in like chassis number

just to make sure its a real e5 and not a 4 dressed up as a 5 etc

Get a VIN up here so we can check it properly.

As far as i'm aware you can't dress a 4 up as a 5. They run on a different track, wheelbase, and overall size. They don't share any panels whatsoever.

You could dress a 6 DOWN as a 5 though I suppose. But you'd notice from the interior arrangement.

Post up the vin and engine number.

I remember there being one going around which was dressed up as a 5 using all 5 parts but it was a 4 i think it was yellow. it was for sale awhile ago.
