Hey guys, I was wondering what everyone is using when it comes to throttle bodies on their high HP setups??

I need an 80-90mm throttlebody, which will be strapped to a custom intake manifold- no need for any factory idle controls as it will be run by an Autronic ECU......

A lot of guys in the USA are using the mustang throttle bodies which are 75mm.

There's also a lot of off the shelf manifolds whichcan be bought to suit the bolt pattern of that throttle body.

i've gone accufab dude. Billet is nice. But go for something that suits your driving. Bigger usually means on/off throttle response, there are cars running 9's on an xf tb. You could go for the 85mm nissan tb's.

60-63mm

xf tb start at 75mm them taper down to something like 67 mm or thereabouts. You can port them and upgrade the butterfly to a 70mm one.

Dre, my other intake setup, i'm using a bigger water to air cooler, an accufab 75mm and jmf manifold.

I want to test my extrude honed 1g mani and xf ported and pwr barrel setup first and compare the difference.

LS1 ported throttle should be 80mm+ and off the shelf 90mm+ upgrade....

a vr4 guy from the states (jesse) who owns revolution motorsports got me the parts. What intercooler are you using? I'm just matching the outlet of that cooler, i don't think there is a benefit of getting a bigger tb than you piping/cooler.
