This is for the my wife's people mover; of which we'll be using to go bit by bit to go around this beautiful Australia.
you should have just gone to another place for a pink slip, they all put it to the rta database if you go elsewhere but it doesnt mean much unless its something major... ive gone for blue slips and been knocked back knew they were just being picky so i just went elsewhere and was passed...D3bb4 said:i got knocked back for pink slip once because the guy was a bastard about my tints... went to a tinting place, and the tints were tested to be around 13% (had tints over factory tints)... the guy there told me that without a printout, they're not allowed to knock me back. But he'd put it on RTA database that it failed... prick.
Had to strip the tints to clear the pink slip, then get them replaced. waste of $$$ and now it looks shit because it's a different colour black to the rear.
The Godfather said:i have 5% all round on my car and its great in the daytime, stops you from getting sunburnt etc but at night its a pain as you have to put the windows down for round abouts or at T intersections cause you cant see much, reversing out of the driveway at night it useless gotta hang your head out of the window to see anything.
my old man has 15% silver/mirror tints on his car, the silver stops anyone being able to see in but its light enough to see out of. Could be another option.?
D3bb4 said:oh.... but you can have the back as dark as you like just the fronts need to be 35%
mannynz said:So anything behind the drivers door can be darker ????????
I tought that's only for commercial vehicles.
