That is the question..

Im thinking of flaring my guards front/rear on my gsr.. flaring them 25mm out! so i can run 18 x 8's no problems at all.. what are your thoughts?

Cos my car is in undercoat the paint can crack and it doesnt bother me as its getting resprayed.. btw its costing about $65 a corner

Will look similiar to the below.

I had 18x7 on my lancer and had to roll the guards to not make them rub but as soon as I put people in the back it use to rub,

My mate put 19x8 on his lancer and had to flare his guards to make it fit the 8inch wide rim but it helps if the suspension dosnt have much movement as it can rip the guards when cornering

so a big yes if your fitting thoes size rims

I voted YES
But dont just do those lil pissy flares :?
Flare teh who guard up and make it better suit the car (saw a supra with BIG flares but looked almost stock, was VERY nice :D ) <silver supra in zoom>

My GSR had 18x8 AME's on it with 3inch KMAC springs and didn't scrub with 5 guys in the car.
Guards are rolled by not lipped at all.
All about the offset ;)

I'll find a pic.
