I've done about 2500 klms on my new engine and I've been told I should run a torque wrench over the head-studs just to check they haven't slackened.

What's the torque spec for the VR4 ARP headstuds? I think I used 80Nm but I can't remember

Any help would be appreciated.

They are 80ft.lbs with ARP moly. If I get somewhere between 80-85 ft.lbs I'm happy. Just measure how high they stick out above the nut just in case they have already stretched

When I get home I'll do up a Sticky with an image for each of the ARP headbolts, mains and rods so people have something to refer to immediately :D
