tube and fine vs. bar and plate

just wondering what the differences are between the two?

from my extensive knowledge (not) i have aways been lead to believe that tube and fin coolers have better flow properties, and bar and plate coolers have better cooling properties.

also, bar and plate coolers are a lot stronger, and resist stones and other **** coming into the front of your car......

some people swear by tube and fin
others swear by bar and plate
but generally

tube and fin - better flow = less cooling due to the increase flow
bar and plate - more restrictive = better cooler due to the restriction..

Bar and plate coolers suffer from heatsink more than tube and fin, the tube and fin coolers dissapate heat quicker than the bar and plates too

Tube & fin flow & cool better. But there is cheap Very thin fin & there is
Good strong well spaced fin. Look through before you buy.
