Turbos

hey whats the biggest turbo that is run on any evo's on here..
cause when i get back from Iraq my car is going under the microscope and getting some serious surgery. im asking for opinions, on what size. im aiming for low 11's.. dont want 10's cause then u need a roll cage.. 11's will surfice..
any opinions wil be nice, cheers.

Mate of mines running a GT3540 on his fully built Evo 2. Has some SERIOUS headwork to help spool a turbo that size, has run 11.16 to date. He does say hes lost that mid range punch you get from a smaller turbo, so isnt as fun on the street as his Evo powered GSR daily, but its a weapon on the track and dragstrip. Puts out over 300kws @ wheels.

A TD05/06 Hybrid with a 22g compressor wheel will get you into the 11s, depends on how deep you want to go, and whether you're upgrading the internals.
Another guy I know has run 11.56 @ 117mph on the Stock engine (and 16g for that matter) So with the right tuning its possible to do it with the factory setup (Will need an aftermarket ECU naturally)

My Mate EVOI is runnign gt35 about 18 psi makes 313kw on pump daily driven ran a 11.7 on a sloppy run @ 122mph so easy low sec car 8)
