How many k's does it take for a heat shield to go all rusty and crap looking?
Being a Jap car low K's don't surprise me though, I've heard they don't drive many kms a year and what kms they do are idling in heavy traffic.

its been would back, Check out the first 4 in the 018744km it doesn't line up perfectly in a straight line = wound back.
thats the tell tail sign, its very easy to wind back mechanical odometers!

but you will always get a misalignment of one of the digits when doing so.

In saying thats its been very well cared for and is a very straight clean ass EvoII worth every cent if you can actually buy it.

the secret to winding back a mechanical odo is to use compressed air on the drive after having disassembled the speedo cable input.....that way all digits will align. and yes I have done many of them were i worked...... when installing a replacement speedo
often we were asked to shave a few off......but strangely the customers were never willing to sign a stat dec saying they had requested a lower reading.

it is my opinion that speedo has had the numbers ....realigned to give a different reading.
