twin pot brakes

hey guys,

I want to go from standard jap spec vr4 brake calipers to twin pot ones. Is it as simple as unbolt standard jap spec ones and bolt in the new ones ?? If not what is needed ?? Do they run the same brake disc's ??

Slightly OT, but I have a set of VR4 twin pots for sale if you haven't sourced any yet.

put the bigger brake discs and 1" master cylinder on at the same time.

prefacelift - 256mm
facelift - 270mm

i just did the upgrade myself
the twin pots bolt straight up i suggest redoing the seals in the calipers and try to clean up the pistons before you put them on the car,

you'll also need 276mm discs which u can get from most car shops if want to buy a new set
i went with a set of RDA slotted which only cost me $170 all up and a good set of pads

rda402 or dba402 is the rotor you will want which is as above 276mm. And yep, bolt on. Also need new pads (obviously)
