anyone got a good hook up in melb for tyres? i'm looking for some tyres.. sounds easy enough until you see the size of them....

245/45R16

any help is appreciated

thanks
Jerome

You'll need to call dobinsons or something for a crazy size like that. I can get them in Ballarat, but don't know about melb.

You just want regular road tyres or R comp or what?

That's a pretty rare tyre size though- aint it?

yer bro, they used them on the R32 GTR;s back in the day on the stock 16X8 rim...

are u sure as i thought they used 50 profiles like most sports cars that came with 16inch wheels

its goin on my car anyways, so its the right rolling diam for it.... just trying to toss up between new wheels and tyres or just go for 4 new tyres.....

i'll give these guys a call on monday..

well i had r32 gtr wheels on my fto stock tyres that came with it was a 50 profile like my stocky fto tyres, just wider.

45 profile 16s will be more expensive due to not being common. As most 45 profiles sit on a 17inch wheel.

He is trting to make a name for himself out there for big tyres, like 20"+ so he can probbly get weird sizes.
