Driving down eastern yesterday evening. Police pulled over a car. The bike the officer was riding was a maroon bike and undercover lights. Don't know much about bikes but it still looked like the other bikes (scooterish) but no markings

just keep eye out for road bikes with camera's on helmets... they coordinate with police, record what you do and fudge you later up the street... more so people on phones while driving, but they record speed as well...

Yeah friend said he saw a guy on the corner of a street signalling to officers down the street people on their phone no seatbelt ect. He went and asked him and he was undercover

So instead of making their presence known in a marked and parked vehicle on the side of the road as a visual deterrent to hundreds if not thousands of drivers from speeding, using the phone etc... they do it under cloak and dagger and book just a few offenders. Which method is the most effective in ultimately reducing speeds and improving road safety?

I wonder how much right a driver has just to keep going and not pull over. Its not like a scooter is a clearly marked Police vehicle and its obviously not considered the 'typical' vehicle utilised by the Police for Highway Patrol let alone for the pursuit of speeding offenders. Could just be an idiot on our roads - AS IF the Police would use scooters??!!!??? thats a bit of an alibi isnt it? lol

Ha ha. Not sure it was a scooter. But normal cop bikes have the big front windshields and things so to me look like scooters :p this was the same style but no markings and was brown. Then suddenly 100 flashing blue and red lights from all over the bike

I got pulled over by an un-marked bike about 4 years ago... he was trying to race me! Was a navy blue BMW with little LED's. Also had velcro patches over his VIC POL crests that he ripped off. Couldn't do shit as I was in my old VR4'd GGSR with NSW plates

I swear it was entrapment your honour!
They made me do it!
Here's a pic I took as proof!!! lol

Saw this sneaky bugger on eastern again this morning. Sitting behind a power pole so you couldn't see him till you were past the pole.

I've seen this prick on the maroon BMW unmarked bike driving around mums kebabs car park one night. I also saw this guy at chadstone sitting down with his bike helmet next to him, it had a camera mounted to the top of it, so either he thinks he's ghost rider or he's one of them fuckheads who help the cops.

Yeah I only recently found out the people who run mobile speed cameras are contracted and not actual police!

Funny dre. Changing what you wrote. He asked where I had been :p

But no, I haven't stopped and yelled abuse yet...have you? Tell tell.

Worse than parking inspectors.
